Özlen Sanıbelli, Corporate Member of our Association and Deputy General Manager of Alternatif Bank, said, “We have worked to make those who have chosen the technology path better equipped. What can we do to encourage women in choosing technology? I don’t have the answer to this, maybe we can solve it by brainstorming. We are experiencing such a bottleneck, many participants who manage the IT side will think like me. We are trying to channel a group of brains to our companies for our own needs from a very scarce resource. That pool needs to grow, Turkey needs a larger group that is devoted to technology and wants to improve itself in this regard, without making any distinction between men and women. When it comes to technology education, I believe that we should put the work in a different place than artificial intelligence, robot and machine learning. Turkey needs analytical thinking, that is, we are lacking more fundamentally. I believe that if we introduce analytical thinking at a very early age, then the technological trend will naturally follow.” said.
