What Does the Woman in Technology Association Do?
The number of women who lead and create in the field of technology is significantly low. Today, the percentage of women working in STEM fields is below 30% globally. Bearing this in mind since 2019, the Woman in Technology Association aims to empower women working in science and technology, motivate them, increase the number of female professionals in this field, and contribute to Türkiye’s technological strength by raising competent individuals.
In line with this mission, the Woman in Technology Association creates a strong workforce that can steer innovation and R&D through its educational programs, events and mentoring.
Focusing on three pillars, Education, Sustainability, and Research & Measurement, the Woman in Technology Association continues to work actively as a structure that includes over 160 leading companies from Türkiye and around the world as corporate members. Its activities are geared towards empowering women in technology, enhancing diversity in the field, and supporting gender equality.
