The Woman in Technology Association Gathered at Member Breakfast!
After our intensive post-disaster recovery efforts, we gathered with our members for a delightful breakfast meeting. On July 20, 2023, we organized an event that received great interest from our members, where we discussed the projects we have been carrying out as well as our projects for the upcoming period.
The event, which began with speeches from our Founding President Zehra Öney, and Vice Presidents Yasemin Bedir and Hayriye Karadeniz, was also attended by our new members. This provided them with an opportunity to get to know this powerful family of women leaders.
Among the prominent projects we discussed during the breakfast were the “Tech Talent Academy,” which will be founded in Hatay and provide education to 11 provinces in the earthquake region, and the “100 Female Leaders in the Centennial of the Republic” project, where we aim to train 100 women. Our project, which is unique due to the fact that it is the first project that we organize with our members, is led by our committee leader of the Resource Creation & Human-Focused Vision and Future Committee, Banu Arıduru. She informed our members about the progress of the project during our member breakfast, and invited them to be involved in the project.
