As the Woman in Technology Association, we have carried out numerous educational programs, projects, and events over the past four years with our existing committees. In recent days, to make our association more dynamic, focused, and robust in the upcoming period, we have updated our existing committees, consolidated some of them under a single umbrella, and given brand new names to others. Here are the new committees of the Woman in Technology Association:<\/span><\/p>\n Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation Committee (AIDT)<\/b><\/p>\n The Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation Committee (AIDT) organizes events and education programs to raise awareness about the transformative power and ethics of artificial intelligence technology worldwide. It aims to support digitalization from practical and theoretical perspectives, and ensures the spread of digitalization with sustainable principals at both micro and macro scales.<\/span><\/p>\n The committee particularly focuses on training well-equipped artificial intelligence experts with the right ethical values and a broad worldview, aiming to create beneficial AI systems for the world and humanity.<\/span><\/p>\n Fundraising and Strategy Committee (FUST)<\/b><\/p>\n The Fundraising and Strategy Committee (FUST) aims to provide financial resources to the association to sustain its ongoing activities and implement new projects and events. In line with the association’s vision, the committee develops resource strategies to produce human-centered outputs with the association’s existing resources.<\/span><\/p>\n Education and Talent Management Committee (EDTM)<\/b><\/p>\n Education is one of the main focuses of the Woman in Technology Association in line with our mission. The association strives to train competent experts through its educational programs, empowering women with low motivation and limited opportunities to specialize and contribute to employment and production processes in science and technology.<\/span><\/p>\n The Education and Talent Management Committee (EDTM) oversees the education processes within Wtech Academy, branded education programs, and collaborations with the universities, as well as the public and private sector. Through its efforts, the committee organizes high-quality and impactful education programs that add value to T\u00fcrkiye, and it conducts necessary activities to increase the employability of its graduates after the completion of education programs.<\/span><\/p>\n Branded Training Programs and Projects Committee (BTPC)<\/b><\/p>\n Education is one of the main focuses of the Woman in Technology Association in line with our mission. The association strives to train competent experts through its educational programs, empowering women with low motivation and limited opportunities to specialize and contribute to employment and production processes in science and technology.<\/span><\/p>\n The Branded Training Programs and Projects Committee (BTPC) develops educational projects in collaboration with brands. The committee communicates with association\u2019s corporate members constantly to understand their technology-related employment gaps, and aims to place graduates into employment and production processes by educating them as competent experts in the STEM field, aligned with the needs of the labor market and brands’ goals for gender equality in technology.<\/span><\/p>\n Domestic and International Cooperations Committee (DIC)<\/b><\/p>\n The Domestic and International Cooperation Committee (DIC) establishes new collaborations to sustain association projects, enhance existing ones, and develop new initiatives by engaging with various sectors in T\u00fcrkiye. The committee also develops and implements strategies to increase the association’s visibility on an international scale.<\/span><\/p>\n Another objective of the committee is to increase the technological competence and expertise of corporate employees, especially those at the managerial level to create a more tech-savvy business world. <\/span><\/p>\n Sustainability Committee (SUST)<\/b><\/p>\n The Sustainability Committee (SUST) designs projects to support global sustainability efforts, raise awareness in this field, and particularly promote women’s initiatives in sustainability. The committee works towards increasing the number of women entrepreneurs and startups while fostering sustainable support models, enabling women entrepreneurs to expand their startups and enter global markets.<\/span><\/p>\n Each year, the Sustainability Committee selects one of the United Nations Development Programme’s Sustainable Development Goals and develops projects in that area, supporting the emergence of new products, services, and ideas.<\/span><\/p>\n Research and Measurement Committee (RAM)<\/b><\/p>\n Being cognizant that “we cannot understand and manage what we cannot measure,” the Research and Measurement Committee (RAM) collaborates with various individuals, institutions, and organizations to initiate research and measurement projects, and publish their outcomes. <\/span><\/p>\n The committee conducts activities to address gaps in research in various academic areas in T\u00fcrkiye, such as technology, sustainability, education, women, and human and employment.<\/span><\/p>\n You can contribute to our association’s efforts as it adapts a new structure and join our committees by contacting us at <\/span>can.altunkaynak@teknolojidekadin.org<\/span><\/a> to help us achieve our mission<\/a><\/span> to cultivate expert and competent workforce in technology in the upcoming period, and strengthening T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s economic and technological power.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" As the Woman in Technology Association, we have carried out numerous educational programs, projects, and events over the past four years with our existing committees.
