In Collaboration with SAP, We Celebrated the Graduation of our “Empowering Women for Digital Futures” Training Program <\/span><\/h1>\n

Within the scope of our “Empowering Women for Digital Futures” training program in collaboration with SAP<\/span><\/a>, we have interviewed graduate or final-year students from fields such as Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Natural Sciences, Mathematics, or Physics. Following the interviews, 41 students were accepted into the program, including 38 women and 3 men, to receive 8 weeks of training in “Data Science” and 3 weeks of training in “Data Visualization.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The training program, which took place with the participation of students from METU, Y\u0131ld\u0131z Technical University, Marmara University, Karadeniz Technical University, Dokuz Eyl\u00fcl University, Elaz\u0131\u011f F\u0131rat University, and Kahramanmara\u015f S\u00fct\u00e7\u00fc \u0130mam University, offered Microsoft BI training for the students in the “Data Visualization” track, while the students in the “Data Science” track specialized in machine learning using Python libraries and gained practical experience. In addition to these technical training sessions, the students also had the opportunity to enhance their social skills relevant to the job market through topics such as “Effective Strategies in Business, CV Preparation, and Interview Readiness, I am Remarkable.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Creating Impact with Intention”<\/span><\/h2>\n

Evrim \u00c7olako\u011flu, SAP T\u00fcrkiye BWN Leader, who opened the launch event of the Business Women’s Network (BWN)<\/a><\/span> in T\u00fcrkiye with her speech titled “Embarking on the Journey” highlighted that SAP supports its goal of becoming one of the most inclusive companies for its employees through the initiatives within the organization.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Business Women’s Network (BWN), which consists of over 15,000 employees in 97 countries, making it the largest employee community within SAP, shared its journey in T\u00fcrkiye during the event. As one of the most inclusive companies globally, SAP increased its proportion of women leaders within the company by 30% in the past decade.<\/span><\/p>\n

Zehra \u00d6ney, the Founding President of the Woman in Technology Association, spoke about the success of the project, stating: “Supporting girls studying in STEM fields has always been one of the prioritized topics for our association. SAP’s approach, principles, enthusiasm, and most importantly, its intention, perfectly aligned with our goals. We have undertaken various projects in the past, but the \u201cEmpowering Women for Digital Futures\u201d Project with SAP has been one of the most beneficial and result-oriented projects we have carried out.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“The Intelligence Has No Gender”<\/span><\/h2>\n

During the event, Hayriye Karadeniz, Deputy President of the Woman in Technology Association and Digital Products and Services Lead at Ford Otosan<\/a><\/span>, participated in the panel titled “Inspiring Stories from Women Leaders.” When asked about the balance between motherhood and career, she responded by saying, “Everyone has their own unique story when it comes to career and motherhood. Therefore, each woman needs to understand and define her own passions, values, and what truly matters to her in life. Only then can she achieve a balance between career and motherhood. There are wonderful role models in this regard. Motherhood is not an obstacle; in fact, it is an empowering factor.”<\/span><\/p>\n

She continued, “Throughout my career, I have had to work in many areas dominated by men. However, I believe that intelligence has no gender, and I have always acted accordingly. You dedicate your effort, intellect, heart, and the time left from taking care of your children to your work. Therefore, what you receive in return should be aligned with the values you cherish.”<\/span><\/p>\n
