Shining Light on a World of Uncertainties with Technology<\/b><\/h3>

We are living in a rapidly evolving world. From smartphones we hold in our hands to household appliances, from the applications we use in our workplaces to the entertainment industry, the physical and digital realms are merging into one another. While just a few years ago we used to talk about social media, today we are discussing new concepts like artificial intelligence, augmented reality, virtual reality, and the internet of things (IoT).<\/span><\/p>

This new “phygital” world brings along various uncertainties. In this environment where people and systems struggle to keep up with the pace of technology, cultivating a competent workforce is the crucial first step in building an intelligent and technological society. However, achieving this goal requires the involvement of not only men but also women. Thus, it has become of utmost importance for women to specialize in science and technology to contribute to gender equality and to a technologically advanced T\u00fcrkiye in this new era.<\/span><\/p>

We Wanted to Bring “Woman” and “Technology” Together<\/b><\/h3>

After many years of working in the technology sector and contributing to numerous innovations in T\u00fcrkiye, Zehra \u00d6ney, the Founder of 360+ Media Interactive Technologies, took action in 2017 to increase the number of experts in the technology field and to motivate women to pursue their careers in this sector. She decided to establish an association that would bring together the words “Technology” and “Women\u201d together for a brighter future.<\/span><\/p>

Following a two-year preliminary study under the leadership of Zehra \u00d6ney, the “Woman in Technology Association” was officially founded on January 31, 2019. With \u00d6ney as the Founding President, the association embarked on a mission<\/span><\/a> to train competent individuals in the technology field, with the participation of 75 founding institutions and individuals.<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>

In a short period, the Woman in Technology Association has reached over 160 members.<\/span><\/a> Today, the association continues its efforts<\/span><\/a> to enable individuals to discover their full potential, cultivate curious, innovative, and confident experts in technology, and include them into the workforce. To this end, we aim to foster diversity in technology through empowering women who may have limited representation and motivation in pursuing careers in this field by providing them with specialized knowledge and strengthening their positions in the industry.<\/span><\/p>

We Provide Comprehensive End-to-End Training to the Leaders of the Future<\/b><\/h3>

Not only do we enhance technology literacy across T\u00fcrkiye with our perspectives training programs, but we also empower women through our technical training programs, contributing to T\u00fcrkiye’s transformation into an intelligent and technology-driven society. Our holistic approach to education helps students specialize in different areas in technology; and empowers them with strong soft skills training and mentoring programs, enhancing their IQ, EQ, and CQ. Following our training, our graduates, whose capabilities have been strengthened, enter the workforce to bridge the gap in the number of skilled professionals in the technology sector. Our graduates also get the opportunity to be employed at our corporate members whose numbers are currently more than 160.<\/span><\/p>
